The senior was crowned the title in all three of his events: 60-meter hurdles, 200-meter dash, and 400-meter dash. In the 60-meter hurdles, Wright broke the facility record (8.27) with a time of 8.15 seconds. He defended his 2021 title taking the top spot on the podium in the 400-meter dash recording a time of 48.11. In the 200-meter dash, Wright picked up his third gold medal after running 21.62, breaking his own conference all-time record (21.67). The Carlisle, Iowa native is collecting his fourth-career Men’s Indoor Track Performer of the Week honor (2/28/22, 2/21/22, 2/15/21, 2/17/20).
