High School Lincoln Southeast Female Athlete of the Week - Women’s Basketball – Player of the Week Cassie Nash, Simpson College Jr., G, Lincoln, Neb./Lincoln Southeast Nash helped lead the No. 5/6 ranked Storm to a 2-0 week, while clinching the A-R-C regular season title. The Storm had wins over Buena Vista University (89-55) and University of Dubuque (79-65). Nash averaged 25.5 points while shooting 65.5 percent from the field on the week. In the victory over the Beavers, Nash posted a season-high 27 points with six rebounds and two steals. She added 24 points and career-high nine steals in the Storm’s win over the Spartans. The Storm improved to 21-1 overall and clinched their second-straight league title with a 13-0 record. Nash is a 2020-21 All-Conference performer. The Lincoln, Nebraska native is collecting her second-career Women’s Basketball Player of the Week honor (2/14/22, 3/15/21).
