High School Selma Wrestling – Wrestler of the Week Rob Areyano, Central College Sr., 149lbs., Selma, Calif./Selma Areyano won the 149 lbs. title at Central’s Under Armour Invitational, going 4-0 on the weekend. The senior had two falls and one major decision that brought him to the championship match. He won by fall over Max Honiss (Albion, 0:26) and Brody Hawtrey (NIACC, 1:09). His major decision win was over Zach Sato of Wisconsin-Eau Claire (18-9). Central’s senior won the championship match 14-7 over No.1-ranked wrestler in NJCAA, Deville Dentis of NIACC. Areyano is a two-time All-Conference team member (2018-19, 2019-20). The Selma, California native is collecting his first-career Wrestler of the Week honor.
