Madison Fleckenstein Award Female Athlete of the Week Week Of 12/20/2021 Sport American Rivers Conference School Loras College Year Junior Position Guard Hometown Asbury Iowa High School Hempstead Female Athlete of the Week - Women’s Basketball – Player of the Week Madison Fleckenstein, Loras College Jr., G, Asbury, Iowa/Hempstead Fleckenstein led the charge for a comeback win for the Duhawks on Sunday against Washington and Lee University (67-55) She had a career-high scoring 21 points and shooting 53% from the field and 33% from behind the arc. The junior also collected five rebounds, four steals, and two blocked shots. She collected 12 of her own points in Loras’ 28-point comeback fourth quarter. The Duhawks moved to a 6-3 record overall and 2-1 in league play. The Asbury, Iowa native is collecting her first Women’s Basketball Player of the Week honor.
