Mike Jasa Award Track Performer of the Week (Men) Week Of 12/13/2021 Sport Indoor Track & Field School Loras College Year Senior Position Sprints/Hurdles Hometown Fairfax, Iowa High School Prairie Men’s Indoor Track & Field – Track Performer of the Week Mike Jasa, Loras College Sr., Fairfax, Iowa/Prairie The Duhawks won the Battle of the Bluff – Dubuque Championships on Saturday, Dec. 11 with 74 team points, defeating University of Dubuque and Clarke University. Jasa won the 800-meter run with both a school and conference record of 1:50.13. His time in the 800-meter run is the second-fastest time across all NCAA divisions this season. He defeated teammate Carter Oberfoell by a gap of 2.64 seconds. The Fairfax, Iowa native also anchored the 4x400 relay team that won the event with a time of 3:20.67, to rank the fastest time in Division III. This marks Jasa’s fourth Men’s Indoor Track Performer of the Week honor (12/13/21, 2/8/21, 2/3/20, 12/19/19).
