Mataloni, a sophomore shooting guard, averaged 18.5 points, 3.0 assists, and 3.0 steals during a 2-0 week for the Kohawks against IIAC rivals Dubuque and Central. In a 72-64 win over the Spartans on Jan. 5, Mataloni tied a career-high with 22 points, four assists, three rebounds, and three steals. He followed that up with 15 points Jan. 8 in a 68-45 blowout of the defending league champion Dutch. During the week, Mataloni shot 11-of-20 from the field, including 6-of-7 from 3-point range.
