Michael, a senior goalkeeper, pushed his opponent’s scoreless time streak to 312 minutes, 48 seconds with three straight shutouts to open the 2009 season. He helped guide the Knights to a 3-0 win over No. 14 Carleton, a double-overtime, scoreless draw with No. 17 Augsburg, and a 1-0 win at Macalester. Michael now has 16 career shutouts.
