She averaged 15.0 points (8, 27, 10) and 8.7 rebounds (8, 9, 9) during this week’s competition. The graduate student shot 52.9 percent from the floor and 43.8 percent from behind the arc. Simpson’s forward recorded a season high of 27 points against UW-Eau Claire. She was named to the Gunderson Hotel & Suites Thanksgiving Classic All-Tournament Team. Taylor is a two-time All-Conference Performer and was named league Most Valuable Player in 2020-21.
