Hawkins threw for a conference record-setting 2,827 yards and 44 touchdowns. His 353.4 yards per game and efficiency rating of 217.4 rank first amongst league quarterbacks. On the ground, he added another 206 yards and five touchdowns. Hawkins is picking up his third career first-team honor. He is the only Dutch to earn the Offensive MVP award since MVP was split in 2010. This is Hawkins second-consecutive Offensive MVP accolade.
