Loras' McDonnell joines former Duhawks Taylor Trovato (2019) and Kinsey Campbell (2013) to have received Defensive MVP honors for Loras. The junior midfielder was part of a defensive unit that finished conference play ranked number one in the league with a .421 goals-against average. The Loras back line allowed a conference best three goals in eight games. She also finished league play with ten points.
