The junior’s efforts helped guide Luther to the conference tournament title for a third time and earned a berth to the 2021 NCAA Division III Baseball Tournament. The NCAA appearance marks the program’s sixth trip to the national tournament. He pitched 8.2 innings in the 11-5 victory over Wartburg on Thursday, May 20. Three day later he pitched six full innings in the 4-2 win over top-seeded Coe. Over the course of the A-R-C Tournament (Thursday-Sunday) he threw 14.2 innings and allowed four earned runs, while striking out five. Game 1: Luther 11, Wartburg 5 – GS, W (6-1), 8.2 IP, 11 H, 5 R (3 ER), 3.12 ERA, 2 BB, 4 K, 41 batters faced. Dufoe is the third Norse to collect Pitcher of the Week accolades this season and is earning his first-career honor.
