Zach Naatz Award Male Athlete of the Week Week Of 5/17/2021 Sport American Rivers Conference School University of Dubuque Year Senior Position Hometown Watertown, Wisconsin High School Watertown Co-Male Athlete of the Week -- Men’s Outdoor Track & Field – Field Performer of the Week Zach Naatz, University of Dubuque Sr., Watertown, Wis./Watertown The Most Valuable Field Performer of the Year went to the host school as Naatz continued the great tradition of Spartan throwers. He picked up gold medals in both the shot put and the hammer throw, and he was fifth in the discus. His shot put mark was 56.23 meters and his hammer throw went for 16.17 meters. The senior recorded a 45.13 mark in the hammer throw. Naatz is picking up his second-career Outdoor Field Performer of the Week accolade as he is earning back-to-back weekly honors for the Spartans (5/17/21, 5/10/21).
