Kendra Cooper Award Pitcher of the Week Week Of 5/17/2021 Sport Softball School Luther College Year Junior Position Right-Handed Pitcher Hometown Lansing, Iowa High School Kee High Softball – Pitcher Player of the Week Kendra Cooper, Luther College Jr., P, Lansing, Iowa/Kee High Cooper was credited with all six wins during Luther’s run to the A-R-C Tournament title for a conference record eighth time. The junior pitched five complete games that included three on day two of Pod 1, throwing shut outs against No. 1 Coe (5-0) and No. 8 Buena Vista (2-0). She came in for the final three innings in the second and deciding game against NWU and was credited with the win that secured the tournament title. Over the duration of the tournament, Cooper pitched 38 innings, allowed seven earned runs, and struck out 18 for a weekend ERA of 1.28. Cooper is collecting her fourth Pitcher of the Week honor this season and now has five in her Luther career (5/10/21, 5/3/21, 3/8/21, 3/1/21, 3/2/20).
