The senior broke the A-R-C all-time record in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 14.27. His time in the 400-meter hurdles came in at 51.72. Wright's efforts at this year's championships earned him the title of A-R-C Outdoor Co-Track Performer of the Year, joining teammate Derrick Smith. The Carlisle, Iowa native is collecting his second-career Outdoor Track Performer of the Week accolade, earning back-to-back honors (5/17/21, 5/10/21). The senior has two Indoor Track Performer of the Week honors to his name in his career (2/15/21, 2/17/20).
