In the 2-2 tie against Luther on March 30, the sophomore goalkeeper faced seven shots and recorded one save. On the week, he tallied a total of two saves with a perfect save percentage against the Dutch. The Rice Lake, Wis. native is the first Duhawk to earn Defensive Player of the Week honors since Jesse Buffington (Oct. 8, 2018). This marks Kurzynski’s first-career Defensive Player of the Week nod in a Duhawk uniform.
