The Spartans tallied just one shot in the first half and finished with seven total, with only three being on-goal. The junior has now been part of 12 shutouts over the last two seasons for Simpson. This marks Ibarra’s first-career Defensive Player of the Week nod. The last Storm Player to earn Defensive Player of the Week accolades was Jake Potratz (9/16/19).
