The sophomore dropped a career-high 31 points in the A-R-C Championship game on Saturday helping to guide the Storm to their 13th conference title and first since 2013. She shot a solid 14-for-18 at the free throw line in the win against Coe, while also adding six assists and four rebounds. On the week, she tallied 11 steals and 10 assists. Simpson concluded their 2021 campaign with an unblemished 12-0 record. This marks Nash’s first-career Women’s Basketball Player of the Week accolade.
