No. 13-ranked Simpson remains perfect on the season, improving to 5-0 in A-R-C play and 6-0 on the season to sit atop the conference standings. On Wednesday evening against Buena Vista, the Creston, Iowa native picked up a double-double with 26 points and 14 rebounds to guide the Storm to a 79-68 home victory. In the 98-91 come-from-behind victory at Loras, the senior dropped 21 points and collected nine rebounds to take down the Duhawks. Taylor leads the conference in scoring (22.0ppg) and in rebounding (10.0rpg). Her performance helped the Storm defeat the Loras for the first time in six chances and the first time at Loras since the 2012-13 season. Taylor is winning her third honor of the season and her sixth career accolade (2/22/2021, 2/1/21, 2/10/20, 12/17/18, 11/19/18, 11/12/18).
