Kassie Rosenbum Award Track Performer of the Week (Women) Week Of 2/22/2021 Sport Indoor Track & Field School Loras College Year Senior Position Hometown Guttenberg, Iowa High School Clayton Ridge Female Athlete of the Week – Women’s Indoor Track & Field – Track Performer of the Week Kassie Rosenbum, Loras College Sr., Guttenberg, Iowa/Clayton Ridge Rosenbum clocked her second national-leading time in the 5,000-meter run at the Liz Wuertz Invite on Saturday at Wartburg, crossing the finish line in 16:50.82, establishing a new all-time conference record, previously set in 2019 by Carina Collet of Wartburg (16:51.66). Her 5,000-m time, which came in one minute and 22 seconds faster than second place, also set a new school record as well as the No. 1 time on the national list. Rosenbum’s 5,000-m time leads the nation by nearly 20 seconds. Additionally, she is the Division III leader in the mile run and second in the 3,000-meter. No. 4-ranked Loras finished second to No. 3-ranked Wartburg at the invite, while defeating Nebraska Wesleyan. Rosenbum is earning her second-career Indoor Track Performer of the Week honor (2/22/21, 3/2/20).
