Mason Spree Award Field Performer of the Week (Men) Week Of 2/15/2021 Sport Indoor Track & Field School Simpson College Year Senior Position Hometown Waverly, Iowa High School Waverly-Shell Rock Men’s Indoor Track & Field – Field Performer of the Week Mason Spree, Simpson College Sr., Waverly, Iowa/Waverly-Shell Rock Simpson competed at the BVU Triangular on Saturday, finishing second of three teams with 87 team points. Spree won the weight throw against seven competitors by over five feet with a mark of 54 feet and 10.25 inches. The Waverly, Iowa native also won the shot put by over two feet against eight competitors with 46 feet and 8.75 inches. Spree is the first Storm to earn the honor since Sam Adeniyi on Feb. 3, 2020 at the 2020 A-R-C Indoor Championships. This marks Spree’s first-career Men’s Indoor Field Performer of the Week honor.
