The Holy Cross, Iowa native defended his 2019 title, winning his second career A-R-C individual title. Freiburger finished the 2020 season undefeated, sweeping the individual championships at the regular-season conference triangular meets. The Knights claimed back-to-back titles as a team with a dominant score of 27. This is the senior’s ninth career Runner of the Week mark (11/3/19, 10/21/19, 9/23/19, 9/9/19, 9/14/20, 9/28/20, 10/13/20, 10/26/20, 11/9/20). Freiburger finished 22nd at last year’s NCAA Championships, earning All-American distinctions.
