In a field of 49, Gardiner tied for fifth place, alongside Nebraska Wesleyan’s Savington, both being seven strokes behind the first-place finisher. The Monticello, Ind. native posted a season-best round of 86. As a team, the Duhawks placed 8th (432, +148). Gardiner is the first Duhawk to earn Golfer of the Week honors since Abby Potts on September 30, 2012. This is the junior’s first career Golfer of the Week honor; and the fourth-ever Duhawk to earn the accolade since Golfer of the Week began in 2001.
