The Norse defeated Loras (7-2), Dubuque (9-0), and Nebraska Wesleyan (9-0) The senior, at No. 2 singles, swept Loras’ Bayona-Paez (6-0, 6-0) On Saturday, Cook, in the No. 1 slot, took down NWU’s Sailer (7-5, 6-2) to move to 2-0 on the season in singles. In doubles, Cook teamed up with Devon Bourget and the No. 1 duo took down Loras’ Hinz/Smith (8-1) and Dubuque’s Stevenson/Colon (8-2) Cook is earning her fourth career Player of the Week accolade (4/8/19, 9/10/19, 9/23/19, 9/21/20) and is the first Norse to win the award for the 2020-21 season.
