High School Rockford Lutheran Co-Female Athlete of the Week – Women’s Golf – Golfer of the Week Brooke Bunjes, University of Dubuque Fr., Belvidere, Ill./Rockford Lutheran Bunjes and the Spartans competed in the Luther Norse Classic September 4-5 at Fox Ridge Golf Course in Dike, Iowa. The first year collected medalist honors, shooting 81-76-157. She won the tournament by one stroke, out of 44 competitors. Dubuque won the tournament as a team with a score of 316-327-643 winning by 22 strokes. Bunjes’ is earning her first career Female Athlete of the Week and Women’s Golfer of the Week honors. UD’s Danielle Mrianda was the last Spartan to earn Women’s Golfer of the Week accolades (September 2, 2019).
