Kaitlyn Andresen Award Female Athlete of the Week Week Of 3/9/2020 Sport American Rivers Conference School Central College Year Senior Position Second Base/DP Hometown Davenport, Iowa High School Assumption Female Athlete of the Week – Softball – Position Player of the Week Kaitlyn Andresen, Central College Sr., 2B/DP, Davenport, Iowa/Assumption Andresen was named to the NFCA Division III Leadoff Classic All-Tournament team that was held in Tucson, Arizona last week as the Dutch went 4-1. She hit what would become the game-winning 3-run homerun against No. 8 DePauw that turned a 2-1 deficit into a 4-2 lead in the sixth inning. The senior’s hot bat continued with a first inning homerun the next game in the 4-0 win over Transylvania. She carried a .417 batting average in Tucson, along with five hits, five RBIs, three walks, and two home runs. This is Andresen’s first career Position Player of the Week accolade.
