Coe would still have the Bears number, taking the series 2-out-of-3 against the top-ranked team in the nation. In the Coe’s 14-5 single game win Saturday, LeGrand went 5-for-6 at the plate with a double and a triple, all while driving in four Kohawk runs. In the rubber match, LeGrand collected 2 hits and an RBI in the 8-5 Kohawk series clinching win. On the weekend he batted.500 and scored four runs himself. This is LeGrand’s first career Player of the Week accolade.
