Cole Schneider Award Player of the Week Week Of 3/9/2020 Sport Men's Tennis School Luther College Year Junior Position Hometown Coralville, Iowa High School Iowa City West Men’s Tennis – Player of the Week Cole Schneider, Luther College Jr., Coralville, Iowa/Iowa City West Schneider helped guide Luther to conference victories over Simpson (7-2) and Central (9-0) last week. The junior was undefeated (2-0) in both singles and doubles. At No.1 singles he defeated Simpson’s Read Reiter (6-1, 6-1) and Central’s William Isiminger (6-4, 6-0). Playing with his partner, Nyathi Motlojoa, the duo defeated Brett Dewerff and Reid Reiter of Simpson (8-0) and Central’s William Isiminger and Brad DiLeo (8-4) both at No. 1. Schneider improves to 13-6 on the season in singles, and 16-4 in doubles, as the Norse improve to 7-4 overall and 2-0 in A-R-C play. This is Schneider’s fourth career Player of the Week honor (3/9/20, 2/10/20, 3/18/18, 2/18/18).
