Michelle Budden Award Field Performer of the Week (Women) Week Of 2/24/2020 Sport Indoor Track & Field School Loras College Year Senior Position Hometown Hazel Green, Wisconsin High School Southwestern Women’s Indoor Track & Field - Field – Performer of the Week Michelle Budden, Loras College Sr., Hazel Green, Wis./Southwestern Budden and the Sixth-ranked Duhawks won the Spartan Invite Friday, February 21 with 205 points, 66.5 points ahead of second-place Dubuque. The senior won the weight throw with a toss of 17.61m, which is the second farthest throw in program history and ranks ninth in NCAA Division III this season. Her mark bested second place by 1.33m and broker her previous personal best of 16.90m. Budden’s toss of 17.61m will be the top seed in this weekend’s A-R-C Indoor Track and Field Championships. This is the first career Field Performer of the Week honor for Budden.
