Joshua Seymour Award Field Performer of the Week (Men) Week Of 2/24/2020 Sport Indoor Track & Field School Coe College Year Senior Position Hometown Des Moines, Iowa High School Dowling Catholic Men’s Indoor Track & Field – Field – Performer of the Week Joshua Seymour, Coe College Sr., Des Moines, Iowa/Dowling Catholic Seymour helped Coe to a fourth-place team finish at the Wartburg College Invite last weekend. The senior thrower, who set the school record earlier this season, came up just short of his own record in the shot put but still took home the title, recording a toss of 15.74m, just .02m shy of the record. He also picked up a first-place finish in the weight throw with a mark of 17.16m, a personal best by .12m. Seymour currently ranks 28th on the NCAA Division III qualifying list in the shot put (15.76m) and 31st in the weight throw (17.16m). This is Seymour’s second career Field Performer of the Week (2/24/20, 1/20/20).
