Nick Henrichs Award Position Player of the Week Week Of 2/24/2020 Sport Baseball School Buena Vista University Year Junior Position Pitcher/DH Hometown Omaha, Nebraska High School Westside Baseball – Position Player of the Week Nick Henrichs, Buena Vista University Jr., P/DH, Omaha, Neb./Westside Henrichs led the Beavers with a .429 batting average in the opening three-game weekend series sweep of Hamline. He led the team with six hits on the weekend, four of which were extra base hits. With the score tied in the ninth inning of the series’ first game, Henrichs led off with a double and scored in walk-off fashion one batter later. In game three, the junior hit the go-ahead two-run home run in the fourth inning. The junior is the early A-R-C leader in average and base hits. This is Henrichs’ second career Position Player of the Week nod (2/24/20, 5/13/19).
