Matt Staver Award Performer of the Week (Men) Week Of 1/13/2020 Sport Men's Swim/Dive School Luther College Year Senior Position Hometown Bloomington, Illinois High School Normal Community Men’s Swimming & Diving – Performer of the Week Matt Staver, Luther College Sr., Bloomington, Ill./Normal Community Luther edged Loras in a conference dual meet 140-65 on Saturday. Staver won the 1000-meter freestyle (10:19.12), with the runner up finishing over a minute and a half later. The senior would also win the 100-meter freestyle (50.62), narrowly edging his teammate by 0.07 of a second. Luther improved to 3-2 in dual meets this season. This is Staver’s second career Performer of the Week honor, both coming this season (1/13/20, 10/14/19).
