Hawkins also earns a spot on the 12-member first team offensive squad, his second career first team honor. The Ankeny, Iowa native is the first Offensive MVP award winner from Central. In eight conference games, Hawkins threw for 2217 yards and a league leading 29 touchdowns. His 277.1 yards per game and efficiency rating of 171.5 rank second amongst league quarterbacks. On the ground he added another 440 yards and seven touchdowns.
