Danny Turner Award Performer of the Week (Men) Week Of 11/18/2019 Sport Men's Swim/Dive School Simpson College Year Freshman Position Hometown Panora, Iowa High School Loveland Men’s Swimming & Diving – Performer of the Week Danny Turner, Simpson College Fr., Panora, Iowa/Loveland Turner won three events this weekend in a meet against Tabor (Kan.) and University of Saint Mary. The freshman won the 200-yard IM with a time of 2:08.24, a time that won by nine seconds. He won the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:02.23 winning by five seconds. He would finish out the meet by winning the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 51.94. All three times are season bests for the Panora, Iowa native. This is Turner’s first career Performer of the Week award.
