He connected with Hunter Robinson for the game-winning 2-point conversion pass in overtime. Hawkins finished the day 22-of-40 for 326 yards through the air and averaged 6.35 yards per carry on the ground. Central next faces Coe College with a win giving them the league’s automatic bid to the NCAA playoffs. Hawkins is now a five-time Offensive Player of the Week (11/11/19, 11/4/19, 9/10/19, 9/17/18, 10/29/17). A season ago Hawkins was voted first-team All-Conference quarterback.
