Her defensive efforts helped Wartburg clinch the No. 1 seed in the conference tournament. The Knights defeated the No. 1-seeds in their respective conference tournaments – Cornell College 3-1 (Midwest Conference) and Northwestern-St. Paul 3-2 (UMAC). The junior defensive specialist tallied 63 digs with an average of 5.25 per set in the three matches last week. In Foster’s first two seasons she was voted first-team all-conference, along with earning the league’s Freshman of the Year honor in 2017.
