The Ankeny, Iowa native is the first Central QB to throw for over 400 yards in a game, Hawkins reset his own school record with 419 passing yards. At one point, he completed 19 straight passes. He finished the day 23-of-27 through the air. Hawkins added 78 yards rushing on 11 attempts and picked up a TD. Central was nine yards from the school for total offense in a game (684). With 1,664 yards passing in six league games, Hawkins ranks second amongst conference QBs. His 20 touchdowns through the air is a conference best. Hawkins is now a four-time Offensive Player of the Week (11/4/19, 9/10/19, 9/17/18, 10/29/17). A season ago Hawkins was voted first-team All-Conference quarterback.
