Morgan Kranz Award Female Athlete of the Week Week Of 10/7/2019 Sport American Rivers Conference School Luther College Year Junior Position Hometown Sauk Centre, Minnesota High School Sauk Centre Female Athlete of the Week – Women’s Golf – Golfer of the Week Morgan Kranz, Luther College Jr., Sauk Centre, Minn./Sauk Centre Kranz earned medalist and league MVP honors at the A-R-C women’s golf championship. The junior was the only player in the field to record two rounds in the 70s. Her final-round 77 came on the heels of a round-two score of 75 and an opening-round 80. Kranz bested the field by six strokes, becoming the first Luther golfer to win the championship since 1998 (Kara Reiman). Her efforts helped Luther to a third-place team finish at the league championship. This is the junior’s fifth Golfer of the Week award, and fourth this season (10/7/19, 9/23/19, 9/16/19, 9/10/19, 9/24/17).
