Dubuque lost just two sets in the Sugar Loaf Classic. In the Spartans 3-0 win over Macalester, Strawser recorded 21 digs and three aces. Strawser tallied 15 digs and one ace in Dubuque’s 3-0 win over Saint Mary’s (Minn.). In UD’s 3-1 against UW-River Falls, Strawser had 10 digs and in the Spartan’s 3-1 over UW-Superior, she had a week-high 20 digs. The Spartans look to get back to the NCAA tournament in 2019 after claiming the A-R-C tournament title and post season berth a season ago.
