Hemaidan, a sophomore from Cedar Rapids, Iowa is the seventh Coe player to earn MVP honors, joining Johnny Watson (1999-2001), Nick Barnes (2002-2004), Ryan Yao (2005) Tom Jennings (2008), Greg Janssen (2010), Noah Sprinkel (2013-2015) and Brady Anderson (2016-2018). The Kennedy prep went 22-8 on the year with a 3-0 regular season conference record. Hemaidan also claimed the A-singles title at the conference’s fall individual championship. In doubles play he finished 5-0 against conference competition when teamed with Nate Ackert. Along with being named league MVP, Hemaidan was selected to the singles and doubles All-Conference Teams.
