Position Player of the Year

Rheault is the third Beaver to earn Position Player of the Year honors, joining Brandon Pietrzyk (2010) and Neil Marshall (2016). The Beavers have also won the league MVP award three times, prior to the award's being split in 2008 to honor a pitcher and position player.  Previous Buena Vista MVP honorees include; Pat McMullen (1970), Jeff Trost (1975, 1976), Dale Knight (1980) and Nick Beard (2002).
 
Starting 24-of-24 game for the Beavers in conference play, Rheault led the league in hits (38) and recorded the second-best batting average at .400. His slugging percentage of .579 ranked third in the conference and his on base percentage of .482 ranked fourth. The North Las Vegas, Nev. native was third in total bases (55) and stole 12 to rank fifth. Rheault helped lead the Beavers to their third conference tournament title and earn an automatic berth into the NCAA Division III Tournament.
