Offensive MVP
Gretchen Schutz, Loras College
Sr., F, Lodi, Wis./Lodi
The American Rivers Conference announced that Loras College senior forward Gretchen Schutz (Lodi, Wis./Lodi) has been selected as the league's Offensive MVP. Schutz is earning her third all-conference honor and becomes the third Duhawk to receive Offensive MVP accolades, joining Elizabeth Mills (2016), and Katie Truesdale (2014, 2015). Prior to the MVP award being split to recognize an offensive and defensive standout in 2013, Loras had three players named conference MVP. Additionally, the Duhawks had one defensive MVP. Schutz finished conference play as the points leader at 19, coming by way of eight goals and three assists. Her eight goals were tops in the league, along with her 8.00 shots per game.
