Gold medals went to Murfin in the hammer throw (59.16m), discus (50.08m) and shot put (16.26m). Murfin’s toss of 59.16 meters in the hammer throw is the new conference meet record. Murfin owns the second-best shot put mark in NCAA Division III this season at 18.11m, while also ranking third in the discus (53.01m). Ninth is where Murfin ranks nationally in the hammer throw with a previous toss of 59.99m.
