High School Westside Male Athlete of the Week – Baseball – Position Player of the Week Nick Henrichs, Buena Vista University So., P/DH, Omaha, Neb./Westside Henrichs tied for the team-lead with four hits and had a team-leading seven total bases in Buena Vista’s three game quest to the 2019 A-R-C tournament crown. In game one of the conference tournament he hit a team-leading third home run of the year, which proved to be the lone run in the team's thrilling 1-0 win over. He came through with a big RBI single to extend the team's lead to 3-0 in Friday's semifinal game against Coe. Henrichs also started on the mound in that game and went 5.2 scoreless innings, allowing just three hits to pick up his third win of the year. Henrichs efforts helped the Beavers win their third conference tournament in school history. This is the first Position Player of the Week honor for Henrichs.
