In the semifinals Luther defeated Central 5-0. In the championship match Luther defeated Coe 5-2 with Morton posting the decisive match at No. 2 singles in three sets over Nate Greiner (3-6, 6-3, 6-1). In singles vs. Central he defeated David Boschma at No. 2 (6-0, 6-0). In doubles he teamed with Brook Norwood at No. 3 and the duo defeated Bo Wilson and Ben Hediger of Coe (8-5) and Josh Phillips and Ethan St. John of Central (8-3). Luther earned the league's automatic berth to the NCAA Division III National Tournament for the first time since 2011. This will be Luther's seventh appearance in the national tournament. The Norse will face Augustana (Ill.) at the University of Chicago in the opening round of the NCAA Championships. Luther has an overall record of 18-6. Morton has an 18-7 singles record and is 16-5 while playing doubles with Norwood.
