The sophomore went 10-for-16 at the plate (.625) with three triples, two doubles, 10 runs batted in, and eight runs scored. He also picked up a win on the mound in relief. Johnson and the Kohawks look to earn the American Rivers Conference regular season title outright on Tuesday, April 23 with at least a split in a home doubleheader against Luther. The Kohawks are currently ranked No.15 in the American Baseball Coaches Association poll and No.18 in the D3baseball.com poll. This is Johnson’s second Position Player of the Week accolade (4/22/19, 4/15/19).
