High School Spring Grove Softball – Pitcher of the Week Samantha Bratland, Luther College Sr., RHP, Spring Grove, Minn./Spring Grove Bratland picked up two more wins last week. She tossed a six-hit shutout and struck out eight during Luther's 2-0 win over Simpson and allowed one run on two hits and struck out eight during Luther's 2-1 win over Wartburg. She is now 15-3 for the year with an ERA of 0.58. The Norse are now 7-1 in the A-R-C 25-4 overall. This is the second Pitcher of the Week award for Bratland in 2019 and the seventh of her career (4/15/19, 4/8/19, 5/6/18, 4/2/18, 5/7/17, 4/23/17, 3/21/16).
