He averaged 23.5 points, 9 assists, 6.5 rebounds and 4 steals while shooting 61.5 percent from the field in the A-R-C Tournament. In the semifinal game against Simpson, Garver totaled 14 points, 3 rebounds, 9 assists and 6 steals. The senior forward broke his own school record for season steals and leads the nation in assists. The championship game double-double was the ninth of his career. The top-ranked Prairie Wolves learned today that they will serve as hosts for first and second round games of this year’s NCAA Division III men’s basketball tournament. The defending national champions will face Eureka in the first round. A season ago Garver was named the league’s defensive MVP and co-offensive MVP.
