The second-year guard scored a career-high 23 points during BVU’s 85-61 win over Central on Wednesday where she also went a career-best 7-of-7 at the FT line. Additionally, she added 4 rebounds and 3 assists. In Saturday’s 95-73 win over Dubuque, Gerke finished with 14 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 steals. Gerke was 5-of-11 from long range for the week and converted 10-of-11 at the charity stripe. This is Gerke’s first Player of the Week honor and the first for the Beavers this season.
