High School East Aurora Men’s Indoor Track & Field – Track Performer of the Week Colfay Pointer, University of Dubuque Jr., Rochelle, Ill./East Aurora Pointer ran to first-place finishes in the 600m and 200m dash at UD's Sol Butler Classic Jan. 19. He beat defending NCAA Division III 400m champion Patrick Mikel of Loras to win the 600 in a facility record, meet record and school record time (1:19.703), edging Mikel by two thousandths of a second. His 200m winning time of 22.58 leads the conference and ranks 15th in NCAA Division III. A season ago, Pointer was the conference champion in the 400m and runner-up in the 200m. This is the second Indoor Track Performer of the Week award for Pointer (1/21/19, 1/14/18).
