High School Winona Senior Men’s Swimming & Diving – Performer of the Week EJ Kohner, Luther College Sr., Winona, Minn./Winona Senior Kohner and the Norse competed against Coe on Jan. 11, 2019. In the dual against Coe, Kohner placed first in the 50 freestyle (22.42) and the100 freestyle (48.75). He also swam the anchor leg of the second place 200 medley relay (1:44.73). Kohner and the Norse competed Jan. 12, 2019 at their own Luther Sprint Invite. The four-team field featured UW-La Crosse, Carleton, Coe and Luther. During the Sprint Invite he placed first in the 50 freestyle (22.34) and set a school record in the 50 butterfly (24.68), good for second place. Kohner also swam the anchor leg of the sixth place 200 medley relay (1:45.06) and second place 200 freestyle relay (1:31.65). This is Kohner’s second Performer of the Week honor (1/14/19, 11/5/18).
